YASCI SELG and SSLG Officers Extend Helping Hand to Fire-Affected Families

In the spirit of solidarity, YASCI, through its Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) and Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) officers, took the initiative to reach out to families recently affected by a fire in the community. Guided by the values of service and empathy, the student leaders distributed donations collected from the generous YASCI family to provide much-needed relief and comfort.

This meaningful outreach was made possible through the cooperation and unwavering support of Councilor Orvince “Vince” Hernandez and the Barangay 160 Libis Baesa Council. Their partnership and assistance ensured that the donations were delivered to those who needed them most, highlighting the power of collaboration between schools, government officials, and local communities.

The relief effort stands as a testament to YASCI’s commitment to nurturing not only academically excellent learners but also socially responsible and compassionate individuals. By extending a helping hand, our student leaders showed that true leadership goes beyond the walls of the classroom — it is about making a positive impact in the lives of others, especially during times of hardship.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the YASCI community for their generosity, to Councilor Hernandez and the Barangay 160 Council for their support, and to our SELG and SSLG officers for embodying the values of service and unity. Together, we prove that even in the face of adversity, the spirit of bayanihan shines brightly.
