YASCI Holds 3rd Quarter Mental Health Seminar on Emotional Resilience

In line with its commitment to promoting mental well-being among students, Young Achievers’ School of Caloocan, Inc. (YASCI) successfully conducted the 3rd Quarter Mental Health Seminar with the theme “Building Emotional Resilience: Thriving Through Change and Uncertainty.” The seminar took place from January 20 to 22, 2025, providing an avenue for students to gain valuable insights on managing emotions and adapting to life’s challenges.

The event featured an esteemed panel of guest speakers, including Mr. Jeremiah Arlen Galarosa, Mr. John Irish C. Gripalda, RPm, Mrs. Trisha Joy O. Gotinga-Jagielski, MA, RPm, RPsy, and Joyce L. Padilla, MS, MAEd, LPT, RPsy. Their expertise in psychology and mental health provided students with a deeper understanding of emotional resilience, coping strategies, and self-care practices.

A key highlight of the seminar was the interactive discussions and activities that encouraged students to reflect on their emotional well-being. The speakers shared practical techniques to enhance resilience, especially in the face of change and uncertainty. Topics such as stress management, self-awareness, and mental strength were covered, equipping YASCIans with tools to navigate academic and personal challenges more effectively.

This meaningful initiative would not have been possible without the invaluable collaboration of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU), whose support greatly contributed to the success of the seminar. Their involvement reaffirmed the importance of fostering mental health awareness within the educational community.

YASCI extends its heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished speakers and OLFU for their dedication to mental health advocacy. The school remains committed to providing programs that support the overall well-being of its students, ensuring they are well-prepared to thrive in both their academic and personal journeys.
