YASCI Faculty Joins Groundbreaking AI-Focused EdTech Training at Xavier School, Greenhills

Empowering EdTech Educators: Building the Classroom of the Future with AI — a 1.5-day professional development program — was successfully held on April 7–8, 2025 at Xavier School, Greenhills, San Juan, Metro Manila, and proudly attended by the faculty of Young Achievers’ School of Caloocan, Inc. (YASCI).

This pioneering training aimed to equip educators with the tools, strategies, and confidence to transform their classrooms through the effective integration of Khan Academy and Khanmigo AI — an AI-powered tutor and teaching assistant designed to enhance instruction and personalize learning.

Through a series of interactive workshops, hands-on sessions, and guided practice, educators explored how artificial intelligence can be a powerful ally in delivering data-driven, student-centered education. Topics included using AI to tailor lessons to individual learners’ needs, analyzing student progress in real-time, and fostering critical thinking and engagement through smart content delivery.

The YASCI faculty, alongside fellow educators from various schools, actively engaged in collaborative

activities and meaningful discussions on the responsible and effective use of AI in education. The training underscored the importance of innovation in teaching practices and reinforced the role of educators as facilitators of future-ready learning.

YASCI’s participation in this transformative event reflects the school’s unwavering commitment to staying at the forefront of educational advancement — ensuring that every YASCian learner is equipped for the challenges and opportunities of the digital age.
