YASCI Celebrates Outstanding Achievements at NPSAC Season 12

Young Achievers’ School of Caloocan, Inc. (YASCI) has once again demonstrated its athletic prowess, bringing home numerous medals and honors from the National Private Schools Athletic Conference (NPSAC) Season 12. This year, our students displayed exceptional skill, dedication, and sportsmanship across multiple disciplines, making our community proud.

The YASCI Basketball teams showcased impressive talent and teamwork. The Elementary Boys’ Basketball team achieved an outstanding 1st Runner Up position, with two exceptional players, Pierce Yohan Hebres and Jhariel Insal, recognized as members of the Mythical 5 for their stellar performance.

In the 3×3 Basketball Tournament, the YASCI Men’s Team earned a remarkable 1st Runner Up position, while the YASCI Women’s Team secured 2nd Runner Up. Their success reflects dedication, skill, and strong team coordination.

The YASCI Girls Volleyball Team emerged as the Champion in the Volleyball Tournament (Elementary Division), showcasing their dominance and teamwork. Special congratulations go to Ava Vasco, who was honored as the tournament’s Most Valuable Player and also earned a place on the Mythical Team. Her remarkable skill and leadership were instrumental in guiding the team to victory.

Our YASCI Chess Team demonstrated both mental agility and resilience. Paul Andrew A. Morales won the Gold Medal in the S/B Division, while Isha Elijah P. Malonda secured the Bronze Medal in the S/G Division. Their achievements highlight their strategic thinking and dedication to excellence in chess.

YASCI’s Badminton Team brought their best to the court, securing a Bronze Medal after a season filled with intense matches. Their determination and perseverance were evident throughout the competition, and this success is a promising sign of future accomplishments.

In the Billiards Tournament, YASCI’s talented players brought home medals in both the 8-Ball and 9-Ball events. Zaira Plaza earned a Silver Medal in 8-Ball and a Bronze Medal in 9-Ball. Meanwhile, Jhared Nastor achieved a Bronze Medal in 9-Ball, showcasing their skill and composure under pressure.

These achievements reflect YASCI’s commitment to fostering athletic excellence and teamwork. We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes, whose hard work and dedication have brought them well-deserved success. As they continue to grow and refine their skills, we look forward to more victories and accolades in the future.
