Young Achievers’ School of Caloocan, Inc. (YASCI) conducted a coordination meeting with officials of Barangay 171, Bagumbong, Caloocan City as part of its continued efforts to strengthen school-community partnerships and ensure the safe and effective implementation of the Senior High School (SHS) Immersion Program.
The meeting was attended by YASCI administrators, SHS Immersion Coordinators, and barangay officials led by Barangay Captain Romy Rivera and Barangay Administrator Boyet Molano. Both parties discussed key concerns and operational plans to ensure that student immersion activities are well-guided, properly coordinated, and conducted in a safe environment.

The meeting further tackled the strengthened deployment of the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT), with YASCI requesting increased visibility and assistance in key locations to help maintain peace and order during the program. Additional support mechanisms, including emergency response coordination and community awareness initiatives, were also discussed to enhance preparedness and student protection.
A major focus of the discussion was student deployment and monitoring, with both the school and barangay agreeing on measures to ensure that all SHS learners are properly accounted for, supervised, and supported throughout their immersion hours. This aims to prioritize student safety while maintaining the program’s effectiveness and learning objectives.
Traffic management along Bagumbong Road was also addressed, particularly during peak hours when students travel to and from their immersion sites. Coordinated measures were explored to help ensure smooth traffic flow and safeguard students, motorists, and pedestrians in the area.

YASCI expressed its gratitude to Barangay 171 for its active cooperation and commitment to supporting education. The school emphasized that this partnership plays a vital role in shaping competent, responsible, and future-ready students.
Through this collaboration, YASCI reaffirmed its belief that meaningful learning extends beyond the classroom, as students gain real-world experience in a safe, structured, and community-supported environment.
