Young Achievers’ School of Caloocan, Inc. (YASCI) is once again opening opportunities for student-athletes as it launches its Summer Volleyball Training Camp, a program designed to help learners strengthen their skills, build confidence, and develop a deeper passion for the sport. The camp provides structured and progressive training sessions that focus on the essential fundamentals of volleyball, including serving, passing, setting, spiking, blocking, and coordinated teamwork. Through consistent practice, guided drills, and skill-based activities, participants are given the chance to improve their performance and develop a stronger understanding of game strategies and court dynamics.

Coaches and trainers will closely guide the student-athletes throughout the program, ensuring that each participant receives proper instruction and feedback. The training is designed not only to enhance technical abilities but also to help learners apply discipline, focus, and decision-making skills during game situations.
Beyond physical conditioning and technical development, the program also emphasizes the importance of character formation. Student-athletes are encouraged to demonstrate sportsmanship, resilience, patience, and respect for both teammates and opponents. The camp aims to create an environment where growth is not only measured through athletic performance but also through personal development.

YASCI highlighted that the program is open to all interested students, whether beginners who are just discovering the sport or experienced players aiming to refine their skills and prepare for competitive events. The inclusive nature of the camp reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing talent at all levels and providing equal opportunities for growth.

The Summer Volleyball Training Camp is part of YASCI’s broader mission to promote holistic education, where academic excellence and athletic development go hand in hand. By participating in programs like this, students are given opportunities to explore their potential beyond the classroom and develop skills that will benefit them in both sports and life.
