YASCI recently presented a series of transformative psychosocial webinars that resonated deeply with learners, parents, and teachers alike.
The Psychosocial Webinar for Stakeholders exemplified YASCI’s dedication to comprehensive student development. The webinars brought together a varied community of participants, including students, parents, teachers, and mental health experts, to discuss the critical relationship between emotional well-being and academic performance.
Ms. Ginalyn Gaspan, a licensed Psychometrician specializing in mental health diagnosis and treatment, kicked off the series with an informative keynote address to the parents. Ms. Gaspan emphasized the importance of creating a favorable learning atmosphere at home.
One of the highlights of the series was when various YASCI students revealed their own achievements over psychological obstacles. Their honest narration touched both parents and classmates, inspiring empathy and understanding. This innovative student-led approach shone attention on commonly neglected shared experiences and generated discussions that might help establish stronger, more supportive family and school settings.
The webinar series’ tremendous success has established the groundwork for ongoing collaboration among the stakeholders. The webinars sparked discussions on introducing psychosocial education as well as extending support services for both students and families.
