Proactive Measures for a Healthier School Environment: Fogging Operation at YASCI

At YASCI, the safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priority. In line with our commitment to providing a healthier school environment, a fogging operation was conducted on campus to prevent the spread of dengue and protect the YASCI community from mosquito-borne illnesses.

Dengue, a serious health concern in many areas, can be easily transmitted through mosquito bites. To mitigate the risks and ensure that our school remains a safe environment for learning, we took proactive steps by coordinating a fogging activity.

This operation aimed to eliminate mosquitoes and reduce the chances of dengue transmission on campus.

This successful initiative was made possible through the generous support of the Caloocan Local Government Unit (LGU), headed by Mayor Along Malapitan, and facilitated by Councilor Vince Hernandez. Their dedication to public health and safety, in partnership with the City Environmental Management Department (CEMD), played a crucial role in the smooth execution

of this important activity.

Special thanks also go to Sir Ryan Castillo for his coordination efforts, ensuring that the fogging operation was carried out efficiently and effectively.

As we continue to prioritize the health of our students, teachers, and staff, this fogging operation is just one of the many steps YASCI

is taking to promote a safer and cleaner environment. We encourage everyone in the YASCI community to stay vigilant and practice preventive measures, both on and off campus, to protect against mosquito-borne diseases like dengue.

Together, let’s stay informed, proactive, and united in keeping our school community safe and healthy!
