In celebration of the 32nd observance of National Children’s Month, the YASCI Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) officers organized a vibrant and engaging face painting activity that aimed to bring out the creativity and joy in every child. The event was designed not only to entertain but also to encourage self-expression, improve social interaction, and emphasize the importance of children’s rights and well-being.
The theme, “FACE the Fun, Unleash the Magic,” captured the spirit of the occasion, with students embracing their creativity as they adorned their faces with colorful designs that ranged from animals to superheroes. The face painting activity provided a platform for students to express their individuality and imagination, while also fostering a sense of community and connection among their peers.
More than just an artistic endeavor, the event highlighted the significance of National Children’s Month, reminding everyone of the importance of protecting the rights and well-being of children. It was a day of fun, laughter, and learning, where students not only enjoyed the creative process but also reflected on their rights to play, learn, and thrive in a supportive environment.
The YASCI SELG officers took great pride in organizing this memorable event, with the aim of promoting the welfare of children in an enjoyable yet meaningful way. The face painting activity was a beautiful reminder of the power of creativity, self-expression, and the collective responsibility to nurture and protect the next generation.
With the success of this event, YASCI students showed that fun and learning can go hand in hand, and that celebrating National Children’s Month is an opportunity to remind ourselves of the magic children bring to the world.
