Empowering Educators: YASCI Conducts DIWA Digital Learning Workshop

In its continued commitment to educational innovation and excellence, Young Achievers’ School of Caloocan, Inc. (YASCI) successfully conducted the DIWA Training for Preschool to Junior High School Teachers, a professional development program designed to strengthen educators’ digital teaching competencies through the effective use of the GENYO Learning Management System (LMS).

The training gathered teachers from the Preschool, Elementary, and Junior High School departments in a collaborative learning environment focused on integrating technology into modern classroom instruction. The workshop aimed to equip educators with the knowledge and practical skills needed to maximize the capabilities of the GENYO LMS, a digital platform that supports interactive and student-centered learning.

Throughout the training, participants were introduced to the platform’s essential features and functions. Teachers engaged in hands-on activities that allowed them to explore various tools for lesson planning, content delivery, assessment creation, and student engagement. The sessions emphasized how digital resources can be seamlessly incorporated into classroom instruction to enhance learning outcomes and foster a more dynamic educational experience.

A major highlight of the workshop was the development of interactive lesson packages. Teachers were guided in designing innovative learning materials that combine technology, creativity, and curriculum objectives. By utilizing the digital tools available through GENYO, educators were able to create lessons that encourage active participation, collaboration, and critical thinking among students.

School administrators recognized the enthusiasm and dedication demonstrated by the participants throughout the training. Their willingness to embrace new technologies reflects YASCI’s commitment to continuous professional growth and its vision of preparing teachers to meet the evolving demands of 21st-century education.

The DIWA Training also serves as an important step in strengthening the school’s technology-driven learning initiatives. By empowering teachers with digital competencies, YASCI ensures that students receive high-quality instruction that is engaging, accessible, and aligned with modern educational practices.

As education continues to evolve in the digital age, YASCI remains steadfast in its mission to provide innovative learning opportunities for both teachers and students. Through programs such as the DIWA Training, the institution continues to foster a culture of excellence, adaptability, and lifelong learning.
