Caloocan PNP and School Leaders Unite for Enhanced Campus Safety

In a concerted effort to prioritize safety and security within schools and their surrounding communities, the Caloocan City Police conducted a crucial coordination meeting with school principals and SPTA (School Parents-Teachers Association) presidents. The gathering, held at the Barangay Session Hall in Phase 1, Bagong Silang, Caloocan City, underscored the importance of collaborative strategies in fostering a secure learning environment.

The meeting brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including police officials, school leaders, SPTA representatives, and other community members. The primary goal was to establish stronger lines of communication and coordination between schools and local law enforcement, ensuring a proactive approach to addressing safety concerns.

PMAJ Rengie O Deimos, ACOPO of Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS), and PCPT Benjie De Vera, OIC of Police Operations Section (POS), facilitated the session, providing valuable insights into recent crime trends and potential threats that could impact the school environment. They also outlined the roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder in maintaining security within school premises and the broader community.

Discussions during the meeting emphasized the importance of swift information sharing, regular security assessments, and the implementation of preventive measures to mitigate risks. Through open dialogue, participants explored actionable steps to address safety challenges, creating a united front against crime and ensuring the well-being of students and educators alike.

This initiative highlights the Caloocan PNP’s commitment to fostering trust and collaboration with local schools. By aligning their efforts with the educational community, they aim to provide not just safety, but also peace of mind for students, parents, and staff members.

With strengthened partnerships and a shared vision for secure campuses, the Caloocan PNP and school leaders are paving the way for a safer and more resilient learning environment—one that prioritizes education and growth without compromise.
