Caloocan City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office Conducts Disaster Readiness Seminar at YASCI.

Young Achievers’ School of Caloocan, Inc., in partnership with the Caloocan City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CCDRRMO), held an extensive disaster preparedness seminar as a proactive move toward establishing a safer and more resilient community.

Mr. Denver C. Robles led the program, titled “An Overview of Disaster Preparedness,” which aimed to equip leadership trainees, class officers, and teachers with critical knowledge to deal with potential disasters. The session, which took place on August 22, 2023, sought to offer attendees the knowledge and skills needed to manage emergencies successfully.

Mr. Robles, a disaster preparedness expert, contributed a great deal of experience and knowledge to the event.

Participants took part in interactive sessions, which allowed them to actively learn and ask questions regarding the material provided. His mentorship and participation were praised by the YASCI Community. It emphasized the necessity of educating students and educators about disaster preparedness because it not only enriches the school community but also contributes to the broader safety and well-being of the city.

Participants pledged to share their newfound knowledge with their peers, family, and friends at the end of the session. Attendees contribute to a more resilient and disaster-ready community by actively participating in disaster preparedness.
