The orientation continued with dedicated sessions for Senior High School students on July 17 and July 18. These sessions provided Grade 11 students with detailed information about their respective strands, highlighting the academic expectations and career pathways available. The orientations helped students understand how their choices will shape their future opportunities.
Young Achievers’ School of Caloocan, Inc. (YASCI) welcomed students and parents to the School Year 2024-2025 with an engaging and informative orientation week from July 15 to July 19, 2024. The series of sessions was designed to prepare everyone for a successful academic year, offering valuable insights and fostering a strong sense of community.
The orientation week began on July 15 with sessions for our Preschool and Elementary learners and their families. The day was dedicated to introducing parents and students to the vibrant and supportive environment of YASCI. The sessions provided an overview of the curriculum, classroom expectations, and the various activities that will enrich the students’ learning experiences. It was an opportunity for families to meet teachers, ask questions, and get excited about the upcoming school year.
On July 16, attention shifted to Junior High School students. The session offered a comprehensive look at the academic programs, extracurricular activities, and support systems available for students. The orientation aimed to ensure that both students and
parents are well-prepared for the transition into a more focused and dynamic stage of education.
The Grade 12 orientations focused on preparing students for their final year, with an emphasis on academic achievements, college readiness, and career planning. The sessions aimed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for a successful conclusion to their high school journey.
The week concluded on July 19 with orientations specifically for Senior High School parents. This final day included comprehensive sessions on the academic programs and support available for their children. Additionally, parents were briefed on the Senior High School (SHS) Voucher Program, providing essential information on how the voucher system works, its benefits, and how to apply for it. This briefing was designed to help parents understand the financial support available and how it can assist in their children’s education.
The orientation week was a tremendous success, setting a positive and informed tone for the upcoming academic year. The well-attended sessions facilitated a deeper understanding of the educational journey and strengthened the connection between the school, students, and families.
