Young Achievers’ School of Caloocan, Inc. (YASCI) successfully conducted its YASCI Safe Space Seminar for Preschool learners, providing young students with valuable lessons on personal safety, awareness, and responsible behavior through an engaging and child-friendly learning experience.
Conducted in partnership with the Philippine National Police, the seminar introduced preschool learners to essential safety practices in an age-appropriate and interactive manner. Through stories, discussions, and participatory activities, children learned simple yet important ways to protect themselves, recognize safe environments, and respond appropriately to everyday situations both in school and within their communities.
The seminar also highlighted YASCI’s commitment to creating a learning environment where every child feels protected, respected, and valued. By introducing safety education at an early age, the school aims to empower learners with the knowledge and confidence needed to make responsible choices and develop positive habits that will benefit them throughout their lives.
Resource speakers emphasized the importance of being aware of one’s surroundings, listening to trusted adults, practicing good behavior, and knowing whom to approach when help is needed. The interactive format encouraged active participation, allowing learners to ask questions, share ideas, and build confidence while understanding basic safety concepts.
